Elaina was late, as always. She’d promised her brother that she would meet him coffee but she should have never agreed to meet this early. And she considered 11am to be early, it was only the day after New Years for heavens sake. After nearly sprinting the last block to the cafe, she stumbled through the door and saw her brother sitting at a table in the corner. Plopping down in the seat across from him, she let out a huff. “ ‘Morning. Thanks for ordering,” she said as her eyes fell on the latte conveniently placed in front of her.

phenex is some six or seven drinks in, and still not yet feeling the kick of alcohol. maybe it takes him longer, or maybe getting absolutely wasted just isn’t going to happen for him. but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy the girliest, sweetest, most unhealthy cocktails he can find. and that certainly doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy the company.
