Thank you for taking your time to have an exclusive Pushing Daisies blog! I'm on another rerun of the show right now, and you make me want to binge watch even more.

Ohhhh! thank you so much! Even though it’s been years since I did any rewatch of the show, every time I reblog something is like “man, I’m gonna do it , I’M GONNA BLOW THE DUST OFF MY PD DVDS AND WATCH THE HELL OUT OF IT. RIGHT. NOW.” but then I end up just filling up my queue. This show was like, my life, when I was really young and I watched it every night until it became a bit obsessive. So here I am, on my early adult years, waiting on that emotional snow day to get wrapped on my own king-sized duvet of goose down goodness and do it. Meanwhile, I love to keep the eternal flame of the fandom burning, so thank you again! (P.S. I can still recite some Ned monologues though, just in case someone is looking for a fight.)

There’s talks about a few things. I would LOVE to see a limited Netflix series. I would love to see it on Broadway. Both of those things are things that have been discussed and continue to be discussed. I’m hoping that we get some traction on one of those fronts, mainly because it’s such a happy universe for me to go to, particularly after working on “Hannibal” for three years, which is not as life-affirming as “Pushing Daisies.” Of anything that I’ve done, “Pushing Daisies” is most representative of my life view. I would love to return to that world, and hope that that opportunity is afforded me.

*facepalm* I know that I already talked about this. Yes, scratch that, a NETFLIX SERIES WILL BE AN EXCELLENT (and more important, VIABLE) WAY TO GO. I mean, Netflix being so giving lately... it seems like something I can actually get my hopes up for. *fingers crossed*

okay i love Pushing Daisies and am excited that the fandom is "rising from the dead" but why this revolution now? is it because of all the stuff Lee Pace has been in lately?

Well, that might be a reason. Nothing wakes a fandom more than an elven king holding a pie. 

ANyway, this whole thing started yesterday with a simple text post which escalated rather quicky and then other posts where created and one thing led to another and well... we got pretty noisy.

I guess it was time that we stop being that fandom whose only text posts are of people sobbing because the show was cancelled (it's been four years for god's sake).

Hey is it weird if I want to be Gavroche in the Pushing Daisies revolution? This revolution is the coolest thing to happen this year, tbh.

I KNOOOW, RIGHHHT 

I'm hoping we can get to that point of giffing parallels between episodes or making metas or discussing character development you know like the big fandoms out there. 

And I have to shamefully admit I haven't seen Les Mis (I LIVE IN A PLACE WHERE THOSE KIND OF THINGS TAKE TIME TO REACH THEATERS OKAY) so I'm not aware of the characters, etc *oopps*

BUT SURE EVERYONE CAN BE PART OF THE REVOLUTION (I mean, that is sortof the point, right?)
