bro, that sounds bad. Physically it could be nightmares and sleep paralysis. Good to see you trusting in the Lord. Even if we can't be demon-possesed they can certainly make us suffer, and only God can get us through that.

I highly doubt it was a nightmare though because 1) there's no way I could have possibly fallen straight into REM sleep that fast, like it happened literally the moment I closed my eyes; and 2) if it was a dream, I would have been able to, without fail, take control and/or force myself to wake up.

But thanks for the encouragement! :) I just hope this won't be a reoccurring experience. D':

I take it it was the 30th church anniversary? Haha, just breathe deep, relax, just before and you’ll be fine! =) Have you tried duolingo? Is it better than Memrise? Great prayer, praying for you =)

Yeah! The 30th anniversary! I haven't tried Duolingo but I have a friend who uses it and says it's quite good. I was tempted to use it at first but I discovered it doesn't have many languages and I believe all of them are European languages anyway, none of which I was interested in.

Memrise fits me well and does what I need it to. I also find it to be incredibly effective. I use it a lot for uni and highly recommend it to anyone who intends on studying a language seriously. If you use it, you should totally tell me your username so I can keep you accountable haha. :)

what devotional book are u using?

A book my family gave me for my baptism. It's called "Go: devotions for faith on the move." by Tim Baker. It's okay. I wouldn't really recommend it though. Many of the reflection questions are highly repetitive (the same question reworded multiple times) and many references are very American making it fairly difficult to relate to. Let me know if you have any recommendations. :)

is summer camp PY? And lol, for some reason I suspect Drew as the shady B) guy.

Presbyterian Youth (PY) is a youth organisation of the Presbyterian Church in NSW and it runs summer and winter camps each year for the youth all around NSW. I've some good friends in Albury who travel up to 8 hours to get to camp which is quite impressive. D: And when I first saw the message, Drew was also the first one to come to mind. ;P

Couldn't sleep. Eyes were like O_O and then nekminnit I heard birds chirping the sound of people getting up. Should've used that time to do work instead lol.
