Music is just the best isn’t it, it’s what feelings sound like. We played 60’s classics throughout this session and man their are some golden oldies, I think I’ll add it to my playlist for sure - thanks Spotify 👍🏼 Lauren here is lovely and this is her 2nd shoot with me. Her 1st session was just last year when I lived in the USA and did a quick visit to Australia on one of our #PDAUSTour pop ins. You know it Australia 🇦🇺 I’m baaaa-aaaaack! I juuust got back after three and a half years in the USA 🇺🇸. I’m taking on bookings too!Currently located in #NewcastleNSW and looking forward to exploring all the new developments. We’re planning on heading back to the USA 🇺🇸 next year so don’t you guys go anywhere 😊✊🏼🇺🇸 It’s a little surreal at the moment. We just packed up our American based lives and relocated to the opposite side of the world 🌎, again, and just like that 🙈🐵🙉🙊 I grew up here and things are seeming a little bit foreign to me yet still familiar? All the (awesome) changes and developments. Then again I’m soooo excited to learn about all the happenings, all the peoples. Women, they are pretty extraordinary aren’t they. Intelligent, knowledgeable, funny and kind. Although there’s so many amazing and worthy women in my world right now I’d like to raise my glass to this one, my mummy🥂(with hmua here by @stylebydivine ). I sit back and try and feel the life she has had, losing her own mother at the age of 15 and with little to no support I just look at her now and just, wow, just wow 😲♥️✊🏼 hashtag mind blown on how far she has come and what she has achieved ✊🏼. I can’t even fathom what life was like for her in the 1970’s having to leave school to work at a Bonds sewing factory to then return to her education years later annnnd with two infants at her feet. Yeh-huh, my mummy took my older bro and I to College for her classes, we coloured in and from memory we were good-ish kids (we were probably little shits). Colouring is so fun though and I looked forward to going in with her so I could colour and eat lunch at the canteen they had there. I remember the new books she got me and the colour pencils, oh the 🌈rainbows of colour was just the best thing, the best. I idolized my pencil case and book bag (and glow worm and cabbage patch kids) 😂. Only now as a grown women myself I see what all that really meant. I love my mummy and all she has done for us. She’s such a powerhouse in a male dominated industry too, I love that about her. So strong, so awesome. If you see an awesome woman around today and every day let her know, give her a high five and a ‘You’re so badass’ head nod 😌. She hates her picture being taken, a bucket list tick of mine was to give her her own photo shoot one day, I did get a few shots off. Amazing women right. Let us be them. Let us know them. Our gorgeous return client, the ever smashing @smashdisco from our #PDAUSTour . We're actually stoked as to be planning a homecoming tour for my homie, Australia. We'll be hitting up QLD, NSW, VIC and SA. I really want to squeeze in the NT, TAS and WA too but I'll be touring with a band aswell so trying to make it work. Delighted to share this lovely lady with you, @13amsy is such a delight, very kind and thoughtful, and hey she lives close, yay! I loved how @stylebydivine styled her hair into these cute curls. As a short haired lady myself I can always appreciate a cute curl or two. Loving her makeup too - smokehhhh. I recall a comment Miss Amy made about starting to accept and like your own body, and that she's getting there. My instant thoughts were: 1.
