Howdy howdy howdy! How is everyone doing..? How was your double-you eeeeee (your W/E or weekend..?). So, so much cool stuff going on around here, I’ve been dropping hints amongst our insta-stories if you’ve been watching 🤫 You should see our new backdrops we’re prepping! A lot of paint, a lot of paint on le tracky-dacks (sweatpants, my favourite kind of pant👖). We’ve done some sessions we can’t show you because we appreciate your right to privacy and your pretty images don’t always need to be slinged all over the internet. Don’t forget that it’s ok to get pretty portraits done for you, and not the internet mmmmm-k. Lady S here is super famous so doesn’t want to be tagged but we’re allowed to share it with you guys (yeeew! She’s gorgeous though right!). This swimsuit is from our client wardrobe collection also known as the Pearl Davies Floordrobe haha. I swear our wardrobe is either hung up in body bags (they aren’t actual body bags but you know what I mean, those garment zip bags) or in some kind of order in sealed boxes awaiting to be opened and played with, or! Or my friends are borrowing them 😬😂 So hey our Viva Las Vegas Sessions are up and only $149 for your holding deposits. We can’t wait to head back to the USA in April of next year. And we’re off...! Starting our #PDAUSTour sessions (2018 season) off with this sweet lady @_paulalouise_ . She said I first photographed her over 4 years ago, wow 😲. Just like her pretty hair Miss Paula has grown so much, and into such a sweet and delightful soul, I like her a lot and can’t wait to get into her portfolio of images. It’s going to be difficult selecting the final photographs for printing so I’m glad that’s her job and not mine 😋. It was great to see you again @_paulalouise_ - you’re awesome 😎. It was also rad seeing our rockstar stylist too, @stylebydivine . She’s a sweetie too and did such a great job with Miss Paula. Weeeeeeeeeeeee! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 We have a full day of sessions today too. Women, they are pretty extraordinary aren’t they. Intelligent, knowledgeable, funny and kind. Although there’s so many amazing and worthy women in my world right now I’d like to raise my glass to this one, my mummy🥂(with hmua here by @stylebydivine ). I sit back and try and feel the life she has had, losing her own mother at the age of 15 and with little to no support I just look at her now and just, wow, just wow 😲♥️✊🏼 hashtag mind blown on how far she has come and what she has achieved ✊🏼. I can’t even fathom what life was like for her in the 1970’s having to leave school to work at a Bonds sewing factory to then return to her education years later annnnd with two infants at her feet. Yeh-huh, my mummy took my older bro and I to College for her classes, we coloured in and from memory we were good-ish kids (we were probably little shits). Colouring is so fun though and I looked forward to going in with her so I could colour and eat lunch at the canteen they had there. I remember the new books she got me and the colour pencils, oh the 🌈rainbows of colour was just the best thing, the best. I idolized my pencil case and book bag (and glow worm and cabbage patch kids) 😂. Only now as a grown women myself I see what all that really meant. I love my mummy and all she has done for us. She’s such a powerhouse in a male dominated industry too, I love that about her. So strong, so awesome. If you see an awesome woman around today and every day let her know, give her a high five and a ‘You’re so badass’ head nod 😌. She hates her picture being taken, a bucket list tick of mine was to give her her own photo shoot one day, I did get a few shots off. Amazing women right. Let us be them. Let us know them.
