Sunny Dispositions | Kieran and Thalia
Tagging: Kieran West and Thalia Carmichael
Location: The tower parapet
Time: Before sunrise to after.
Notes: Kieran finally meets Thalia, and, in her, tries to lose the feelings that seem so wrong.
Extra Notes:
Again, Thalia found herself in this little place. This small bubble of peace, a sanctuary of quiet undisruption in this chaotic world. The sun hadn't even risen, but then again, the sun had set and the moon arose without Thalia so much as closing her eyes in sleep for two minutes. It had been a restless, tossing-and-turning night for her, to say the least. And finally, when her bed was too hot and her covers too heavy, Thalia had gotten out of bed and thrown herself out of the nearest window, changing into a bird.
Her wand already strapped to her ankle and changed along with her, Thalia was free to soar and fly high into the air, enjoying the brisk, sweet night air. But even birds get tired, and so it was that Thalia chose to take respite on a familiar railing on a parapet that formed out of Ravenclaw Tower. She hopped about here and there for a few minutes, catching her tiny, quick breath before deciding to change back. So, she fluttered down to the floor, and moments later, Thalia the human stood in the bird's place.
She conjured some clothes, a simple little nightgown and such, seeing as the temperature on the parapet was now continually warm. Sighing, she walked over to the table and sat down, trying to shake that cloistering feeling that had already begun to creep back under her skin. Ever since her night with Remy, her life seemed to have slowed down. Nothing new, nothing exciting. The highlight of it all was hardly such. Randall being hurt was nothing to celebrate, and the lockdown his attack caused had only served to bog things down even further.
Each passing day found Thalia struggling a little more to smile and to laugh. She couldn't take pleasure in the little things, and the gossip was beyond boring at this point. She wanted to feel bright again, as she had before her time with Remy. Another sigh found its way past her lips, and Thalia rested her arms on the table, her head lying on top on them, staring dismally out at the navy sky.
