For the final project I worked with digital slitscans. The file format that I worked on is .mov and then converted to .tiff and .jpg for print purposes. The reason I chose to print my images is to compare the slit-scanned images produced from the .mov files. Since I was working with horizontal scans and the vertical scans, it was interesting to view the images with different percentage and the same video with different sizes and what part of the images were broken vs what part were static. I took 5 videos and I chose to work with Indian news channels - NDTV, AajTak, RepublicTv, TimesNow and IndiaTv. The reason being of visual culture amongst all these channels.
