If the Blazers opt to go through the draft and build that way Damien Lillard's time window will be closed. I know he doesn't want to leave but at the same time does he want to wait another 3-5 years before the Blazers are relevant again. The problem with the plan is last year all those players had everything to play for and now they got it and then some. The Blazers rank 2nd in payroll and currently in the 9th spot. They are a team that lacks defense, inside rebounds and blocks. Something will have to happen now or just blow it up in the off season and use those 3 #1's. They could make some deals to help them get into the playoffs to see what kind of noise they can make.
