💜MAY 26: Favorite last #Disney bound!💜 . . For this challenge, I chose a recent bound! It’s not a character, but it’s a bound of the Mickey celebration donut. I chose this one in particular because I feel like it represents my personality and the bursting happiness I have inside of me. For a very long time, I didn’t know how to create my own happiness. It was always something that I was instead looking for.. which to your surprise or not—made me quite the angsty teenager and young adult. Truth be told, I wasn’t happy for a really long time. I did not create this newfound happiness until last March (2019) when I officially started this blog. That’s why I named it happiest Jen on earth! I took some online courses learning about happiness, my personality type, and the kind of actions I could practice to not only become more happy—but to continually study positive psychology and really be in tune with what my signature strengths are and how to apply them in everyday life. This, in turn, helped me to live my most authentic life. It’s so freeing to finally be me..and strangely enough this pandemic has brought that out in me even more. I think that some people think being happy means that you never have a bad day, but that’s not true! I have bad days just like everybody else and some days take more work for me. What matters most is that I fight to find the positives in the negatives of my life. This inspires me to continue to find goodness in myself and goodness in others—no matter how much they might have hurt me. One last thing I want to leave you with is that I’ve learned that happiness really does have a different meaning for each person. Happiness is not one dimensional.
