The year was... 98/99. I stumbled in to a small shop to watch my man @andy.hilton.18 cast a banana in aluminum. That day I was for ever changed "you can do this in school" major changed the next day to sculpture and I began down the path that I have been on ever since. This furnace was being built by two of my soon to be best friends in the world Mark Lee and Phil Proctor. It had a stainless wind belt and a funky table. We poured so much metal with it for so long. Took it on the road and it always worked... Bridged several times cause we would run it till the lining was melting out of it! All these years later and I with the help of @foxtrot7 and @cactusbritches made a new table and split the stack for easier relining. It's almost always worked and poured some amazing pieces!!! Today may be the last time I run her😳 I have always known this furnace and she put up a fight for me today... Still worked and poured everything. I will miss my hot rod!!! She is the best! I love her!!!❤️❤️❤️ #peaceoutcupcake #tapthat #usmsculpture (at The University of Southern Mississippi)
