△ does it ever hurt that peach seems so incapable of being nice to you?

“No. It’s like this: when you love someone and when they’re your family, it’s different. When you know that someone’s gonna be in your life forever, it doesn’t really matter what they say. If someone else tried to hurt me on purpose or said somethin’ truly bad about me in front of Peachy-Keen, and not just the surface level kinda stuff, she’d be on my side. And listen, Peachy-Keen bein’ on my team is a hell of a lot better than her bein’ the enemy.”

(10/10) “Doesn’t... everyone? I don’t know, I like to think I’m confident in my own skin, but yeah, maybe some days I do wish I was more of the ‘friendly’ type, like Hannah or Lemon.”

△ do you ever get scared of where your life is headed?

“Yea, I would say so. I think everyone does, right? That’s normal. Especially as you get older and realize your life isn’t exactly turning out the way you thought it would. But that’s life, right? You come into the world screaming and spend the rest of the time internalizing that same feeling.”

(10/10) “May 10th, 2019. Last game of the season, last game ever for me. Basketball’s always been the thing I was sure about, but with all of that in the past for me, feels like I’m doubting myself most days.”

“Oh, uh... yeah, sometimes. Don’t we all? I got a lot of good family and friends, but I never did so great in dating. It was always my own fault. I’d get too distracted, get too busy. Thought if I spent too much time datin’, I wasn’t spendin’ enough time bein’ a good dad. Guess I’m slow to realize that ain’t necessarily true.”
