Cookie thief – starter for peach-lieutenant
Sousuke was running as fast and as hard as he could. Where his feet were carrying him in the high walled, maze of a city that he had found outside of the terrifying place where the clown-captain and his minions had been trying to do some very scary and painful things to him, Aizen did not know. Only that it was far, far from where he was, and he could dodge, duck and hide really well from that captain’s people.
Eventually the little one ran into a building, desperate to find someone with a friendly face, or barring that, a place to hide. Preferably that had food, as the small child was starving. He quickly picked up the scent of something sweet and followed it. There, cooling on a window sill of a room with a hidey-hole conveniently in the center, were a tray of… Something.
While he would have been normally very suspicious about such a set-up, something within the little illusionist told him to stay here, and that this place was safe. A small smile appeared on his face and he grabbed several of the sweet smelling and warm objects, before crawling under the wooden object that would serve, at least for a time, as his hiding place.
The little one ate the sweet treats, delighting in the oddly familiar taste and curled up in the space on the floor and fell asleep, a contented smile appearing on his small, cookie-crumb messy face.
