When I was a kid my dad was talking to a lady at a wedding and she said something I misheard, which made kid me think she was an actress (it was in dutch so idk if translating it would make it make sense, so I wont say what she said). Anyway it wasn't until like 2 years ago that I realised what she had actually said, I was 6ish back then, I'm now 22. It took me literal years to realise what that lady actually said and dare I say peak ADHD moment

the thing is I know exactly how to make my adhd Manageable like I know how to break down tasks and I know that that helps me etc but whenever I have to do something I go yeah Im getting up first and then I get up anD THEN I FORGET WHAT I GOT UP TO DO
Random throwback to last year when I learned to read Russian, just so I could sing along the lyrics of Russian songs I liked.
Back to the present, I'm listening to the same songs and I have no fucking clue how to read the lyrics bc at some point I got interested in other things and just...stopped practising reading Russian. Now it all looks like hieroglyphs.
Who was the girl who did that?? I feel so estranged from myself lmao. How did I do that?? Wtf? 😭
