For 10 years, these Peak hightops have been part of my collection. They were a gift from my husband, purchased in China during his trip home.
It has been a while since I wore them. Yet, they always feel at home on my feet, like the warm embrace of an old friend.
When it comes to long distance travel, where we are gone for a while, I tend to come home with a new pair of kicks.
Some people buy unique items specific to their travel destination to remind them of the trip. For me, new shoes or boots do the same thing.
For instance, these Peak hightops. The husband and I traveled to China in 2019. These new shoes came home with me.
