President Jimmy Carter is dead

He was the oldest living former world leader, out living even the queen of England by several years

The position of president is criticized constantly for the many atrocities that they may enact but jimmy carter was a prime example of a good man in a terrible job.

He was criticized at the time of his presidency for many reasons including the miss handling of an economic situation but he is also known for his belief in renewable and green energy which now rings as a hopeful past in a present where the ecological situation is dire.

And lived hundred years, living long enough to vote for a female candidate with the hope she may become America's first female president.
