its always important to give your polycule enrichment
soooooo. my brain's solution to "we have a creative writing project due on Monday and no ideas" was to write some fanfiction and make sure to change the names after
it's not done yet, but what i've landed on is a regency era-esque fic with bonnie and clyde-type duo Etho and Pearl both going after Gem, third and youngest child of Lord and Lady Taylor, with the initial intention of assassinating her. they attend some of the galas that Gem's parents host, and eventually Gem takes notice one night and decides to try and figure out what their deal is.
after some dancing - in which Gem gets passed between Etho and Pearl throughout the night - flirtation, and scandalous touching, the three of them end up in an enclosed space somewhere hidden away from prying eyes. Etho and Pearl try to go in for the kill, but they hesitate, and Gem realizes what they were trying to do.
turns out, over the course of the night, Etho and Pearl have gotten a liiiittle too attached to their target. whoops
im still not sure how i want this to end, but im fully planning on expanding on it and polishing it/making it better for Ao3 publication. anyone interested?
