I got my old amp head and 2x12 back from my local music store by trading one of my double amp heads in. I never liked the sound of this cab but I had an idea. I took the speaker from my peavey basic 40 (1985 eminence speaker) and put it into the cab. And boy did it make it sound better! Way better then the original crate speaker.
