How is Pebbleshine coping with Cedarstripe's disappearance?

Pebbleflank is pretty shaken up by it, not that it shows. He likes to keep his emotions private, unless its anger haha. Anyway, he never thought that Cedarstripe would leave because of him, and as his father its sort of made him reevaluate his life choices. Pebbeflank doesn’t know exactly why Cedar left yet but when he finds out, oh man, he’s going to flip. 

For those of you who don’t know, Pebbleflank has never been the best father. In fact I can hardly call him a father. He’s more like an Ego than a Yondu, (though without the desire to rule/destroy the galaxy or use his son as a weapon of mass destruction). Cedarstripe was conceived when Pebbleflank was a new warrior, still struggling with the grief of losing his best friend as an apprentice. He made some bad choices and Cedarstripe happened. He wasn’t ready to be a father and completely cut himself off from his son and Badgerclaw (Cedar’s mom). Because of this Pebbleflank is seen as the deadbeat dad, and he made it very clear that he did not want his son. 

Despite all this he never hated Cedarstripe. Deep down he’s always wanted to make amends but it looks like he didn’t do it soon enough.

Deerpaw of Nettleclan and Pebblepaw of Creekclan before the accident Pebblepaw was more dappled as a kit and apprentice and eventually became darker in color. It confused many cats as he didn’t resemble a pebble at all. I felt like drawing them happy ;w;
