so, i've been playing around with colours and shading and here's what popped out.

miles edgeworth from the first trilogy, shiny shoes and all.

so i've been thinking. many people prefer the main characters to side characters, and many people prefer heroes to villains.

i am not many people. have a manfred.

so i've written up the second bit of my little kirikami fic - it's a little shorter but it flows quite nicely ^^

“Come back home with me?’’ He asks, and you freeze in place.

The words hang in the air like a challenge, or perhaps an invitation. You can't quite tell which, not while you're this off kilter. The sound of his voice is low and husky, sending shivers down your spine as he tilts his head. Innocent, the gesture is. Innocent, but still it tears up your world.

The city lights twinkle behind him like diamonds scattered across the sky. You can still hear the music, the noise from the building behind you. The noise you’d just escaped from with him. A ‘congratulations on being let out’ party. For all the people who don’t deserve it.

All of that pales when faced with his presence.

You swallow, hand reaching up to card through your pale yellow hair, silvery in the light of the street lamp. The sensation gives you something to focus on. Something that isn’t the red of his gaze.

He reaches out a hand, his fingers brushing against yours almost hesitantly, as if beckoning you to follow him. His touch sends shivers down your spine.

"Come home with me?" He repeats, with a cute little quirk of his lip that makes your mouth run dry. “It doesn’t need to be anything like that. Just... us.”

And yet you know it will be. It’ll be so much more than that. Not to him, but to you. Every little thing he does tears you up inside.

This is a terrible idea, you think, and yet your feet move forward.

so i also do writing. have a kirikami (kristoph/godot) wip. it's in second person, which i don't usually write in, but i was experimenting and i like how it turned out.

“...do you want this?”

The crystal bottle sits in your hand, heavy with weight and implications as you offer it out. Outstretched, the small glass hand atop the lid presents itself as an olive branch.

“Does it have poison in it?” He asks, mouth curling up at the corners with a tone so playful and teasing, delivering words that splinter something deep inside you — something you didn't think even existed in you. Not anymore. Not after everything.

With a jerky motion you snatch the bottle back. The smooth glass is cold against your soft, delicate fingers.

You can't. You can't deal with this anymore. Any of it.

“... nevermind.” You whisper roughly, unscrewing it and coating your nails with shaking hands. You hope he doesn't say anything. You hope he can't see.

When under his gaze you feel as though you could fracture into a million pieces. Like one wrong move could spell your doom. You feel fragile. And you can't even see his eyes.

The colour is black. Like the colour he wears on his fingertips. You match. It makes you feel… strange. Not necessarily good.

With a soft chuckle and a smirk that betrays nothing but the hollowness behind it, he plucks the bottle out of your hands, brushing his fingers across yours and sending a jolt down your spine.

“It’s even in my favourite colour,” He whispers, voice velvety smooth and sliding, whisking you deeper and deeper into…

Into..?

You feel an intensity, as if his gaze is directed onto you, sharp as a blade in a way that makes you shiver.

“You went all out.” He finishes, smirk curling up onto the corners of his lips like wisps of smoke, sardonicism dripping from his words like a poison. The colour splashes across his own fingers and you feel as though you've just passed a test.

You tremble under his red gaze, paralysed and frozen and hot all over.

There is nothing behind those eyes.

(these are my au of larry, diego and kristoph, in which they all band together and start a business. they all chose their names based off of classic literature characters, as it's practically canon that diego likes classic lit. they're open to questions if you so wish ^^)
