The pedal is DONE! Everything was painted prior to the happenings of this past week. In retrospect, maybe the edgy words weren't the best choice. I don't know! It feels a bit insensitive, perhaps it was just some sort of coincidence. I mean, I guess it must be. What else could it be? Anyways, it sounds fucking sick
JHS Morning Glory Build (pt.1)
Another build, JHS Morning Glory.
The three pin socket on the right is for the JFet, the other randomly stray ones are for the diode section, pretty sure it's the clipping section... Might experiment with it and do a diode swap switch, since I did a Symmetric/Asymmetric switch in another build (Marshall Shredmaster).
Edit:
I substituted the JFET (used J201 instead of a 2N5457) and socketed the diode section. The build uses four silicon diodes (1N4148 [used] or 1N914), but I might pop in 2 red LEDs at some point. I’ll probably leave this one with sockets and pop whatever I want in when I want. :D
Soldering Links
Populating boards using poster/sticky tack.
I usually use clipped leads from other cut parts.
Sometimes leads can be long, so you can solder 2 together.
When you have parts (i.e. IC Sockets) going over , make sure to make them flush with the surface and have no points of contact with each other/other parts.
