Last Sunday the #PeelStPark was host to Yokoso, the #Collingwood #Fitzroy Japan Festival. Performances and stalls in the park (with masks & tracking mechanisms) & food at the surrounding restaurants (where there were significant queues! Difficult to socially distance! Wednesday was #WelcomeBackWednesday #MelBourneAgain ext but I ended up eating lunch in sun in the #PeelStPark. At least the Council’s finally worked out that more bins are needed! After brunch we spent some time lounging in the sun on the superbenches in the #PeelStPark admiring #JacksonClementsBurrows #JCB’s apartment building… (at Oxford Larder)

Vandalism at the #PeelStPark - by the Council. Why won’t the #CityofYarra learn from active desire lines and adjust the design to suit (when the design already encourages them) rather than ‘solving’ them with fences? 😡🤷‍♀️ @cityofyarra (at Peel Street (卑利街))
