Forty years ago, he was the star of the motion picture version of Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Academy Award-winning director Norman Jewison. He has since returned to the role in record-breaking tours in North America that have produced gross incomes approaching $100 million U.S.

Now, taking on Europe for the first time, in April 2014, Ted Neeley reprises the role he is most associated with in a 20th anniversary revival of the long-running Italian production by Massimo Romeo Piparo's Peep Arrow company, which was endorsed by the Vatican's official 2000 Jubilee Programme.

Directed once again by Piparo, the latest production of Jesus Christ Superstar - Peep Arrow will prove it is as relevant and timeless as ever. Opening April 18, 2014 at Il Sistina, tickets are on sale now!
