oooooh on the topic of nancy drew, what games have you played so far, if any, and which one do u like the most?

i usually like to watch streams of ppl playing nancy drew games, i get more out of it when i see another person reacting to it yknow? but yeh interested in hearing ur thoughts on ND!!

i haven't played the games sadly, id love to tho! i usually watch Gab Smolders play them since she's really smart and chill playing the games~

as for favorite ND games, that's tough 🤔 i really REALLY loved "Haunting of Castle Malloy" becuz of how wacky it is, "Message in a Haunted Mansion" was charming & tame (in a good way!) and the tie between Shadow at the Water's Edge and Midnight in Salem and Tomb of the Lost Queen in Fun and Gr8 Characters is ...idk i just love those 3!

my least favorite was Danger by Design, it didn't feel interesting and the french accents just...were So Jarring to me lmao

the games look fun and i tend to poke fun at them being children games with a college education level 🤣

overall? i love the nancy drew games ♥️

as an antizionist jew i appreciate you sharing that post about not being immune to propaganda. however i want to point out that the post you reblogged before it (about israel believing all the land within the red line was "promised" to them (assumedly by god?)) is itself unsourced and propagandistic. there's no jewish religious precedent for the red line land claim, and even if there was, equating the problems with israel's actions with judaism itself as a religion is not great. and if they meant politically promised to them by colonial powers rather than promised by god, there's also no precedent for that. i've never known that land claim to exist outside of antisemitic propaganda

Some teachers drove me insane with stuff like that. Teachers demanding you go above and beyond on every single assignment just because you're good at something sucked. All it made me think was that nothing I ever made/wrote was good enough.

for real, i think the only teachers that were understanding were the young teachers (at the time i was a teen) but even that was rare. i remember struggling a lot for a lot of assignments and my desire to learn was just drained, getting the work done was more important.

i feel bad for the current education system just getting worse and worse for students AND teachers and this weird push to do Better when we're all So Tired...
