Peirce Mill is out of sight to the left of this view, and the Teahouse Dam on the creek is directly behind the sightseers.

Evans mailed the photo as a postcard to Miss M. Sina Raitt in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 12, 1910. He wrote to her, "This is another result of intensifying an otherwise useless film. The view was too pretty to miss and it was after four oc'k but had to be taken quick for trees were swaying & water covered with ripples. The only light to be had on the water was that reflected by the sun on the bright red yellow & green foliage on distant hillside. 1/75 second."
