Serafina had spent her morning chewing out one of the poor girls that worked in the general store. An order for the castle was late - the ship delayed, apparently - and she'd taken it upon herself to investigate. There was nothing the girl could do, of course, they simply didn't have the stock, but as of late Serafina's temper had been terrible. Blame it on the lack of sleep. On the stress that hardly a single soul knew she was under. Or maybe it was just her personality, under the layers of false smiles.
Whatever the reason, she stormed out of the general store and onto the street in a fury. Still caught up in her anger and in a hurry to return to the castle, she was hardly paying attention to where she was going. Not until she nearly ran headfirst into another person on the street, causing her to stumble to the side. She caught her balance at the last moment, avoiding falling into a truly disgusting puddle. Her furious gaze snapped to that of the stranger she'd almost collided with, and a scolding was on the tip of her tongue -
But she bit it back. It wouldn't do her image any good to have the people of Camelot see her yelling at some poor girl. A smile formed on her lips, natural as anything, and she tilted her head. "My apologies, dear, I wasn't watching where I was going in the least." Her eyes narrowed, just slightly. The girl looked familiar in a way Serafina couldn't quite place. "Have I seen you somewhere before? The theater, perhaps?" Serafina stopped by the theater regularly, as a result of her connections to the other bards of Camelot.
