Whale of a good time! 🐳 My workshop guests were treated to a pretty amazing sight this morning as a minke whale fed just feet away from the shore at Pemaquid Point. Needless to say, the lighthouse played second fiddle to this amazing event! #pemaquidpoint #whalewatching #maine #photographyworkshop (at Pemaquid Point, Maine)
Very excited to see my picture from Pemaquid Point lighthouse in this months Light and Landscape Magazine. Many thanks to Matt Reid for choosing it and hoping you continue to feel better. As always also a big shout out of thanks to Mike Taylor for his instruction during last years workshop when I took the images to make this. #lighthouse #night #astro #pemaquidpoint #stars #startrails #maine @visitmaine
Tide Pool at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Found some amazing tide pools on the sea rocks along the shore. I have never seen one so full of life before.
After your paddle check out the hiking trails on Pemaquid Point. We are so lucky to have the @midcoastconservancy giving us public access to so many incredible places! #mainekayak #pemaquid #pemaquidpoint #midcoastmaine #midcoastconservancy #hiking https://www.instagram.com/p/CiSByB-urc8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Our peninsula has an historic past including the old swing bridge in South Bristol connecting Johns Bay to the Damariscotta River. The Gut as locals call it, had one of only three swing bridges in Maine. In 2017 they replaced it with a safer drawbridge that didn’t break down so much. . Come check it out this summer on our half day and Inn to inn kayak trips! . . . . #mainekayak #southbristolmaine #pemaquid #pemaquidpoint #midcoastmaine https://www.instagram.com/p/CcftUHgLrZs/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
