indulge my curiosity
I know I have a way of asking people questions that only the universe can answer. Even for a moment, indulge my curiosity. Isn't life but a paradox? When you really examine the very fibers of existence; are they not woven with contradicting truths?

Social media can either connect us with people from a distance or distance us from people we’re connected to.
I’ve been learning that it’s important to cultivate and invest in the relationships that you have deeper connections with within your proximity if there’s geographic distance it is there for a reason it doesn’t lessen the significance of the relationship, but it does play a role prioritizing physical interpersonal interaction that’s more meaningful than virtual transactions that we have designated as our primary means of interacting with those whom we care about relegating them to the margins of our lives
I’ve also noticed that there’s a disconnect between the real world and the virtual world it’s a self-centric approach to community I understand the personal imperative everyone has in their own wellbeing but the concept of a communal effort is that it’s no longer individual centric it’s a collective effort towards a common goal.
Social media has given the individual a voice unlike anything before it, but if everyone’s talking all at once what difference does it make between who’s heard and who’s not, and what’s being said and what’s not being said what’s relevant often gets lost in the “what’s trending” noise what can engage the attention span of the most people for the longest time which I believe is the ultimate litmus test for the tolerance of mediocrity in a society it almost becomes a deluge of who can be louder than the loudest person in the room and get the most attention for it

I hate myself.
