i want to bite his cheeks, jaw, chin and then kiss him and then bite him again.
he makes me feel sick.
i too enjoy watching emotionally constipated men go about their daily lives acting like fools so i completely get why felix is so smiley and giggly all the time.
while is vance is meant to be more of an oc x canon rather than a self insert, he still takes a lot after me so it's kind of difficult imagining him with unit bra.vo. tw.c is a soulmates/love at first sight story while he's a repressed demiromantic. a lot of the lines don't work, and are repetitive unfortunately. it doesn't matter if you're playing a stoic, sarcastic, intimidating mc, they're always written to be this easily flustered, lovestruck quipper. so i'm kind of winging it with how the lis would interact with someone who doesn't seem to show much, if any, interest. because even someone as friendly and outgoing as felix will struggle with getting so much as a smile out of him. this very blunt 29yr old would not be smiling every other sentence. with that out of the way, the easiest aspect of this to imagine despite everything is the fact this would obviously lead to insecurity/doubt on his lis part. he's fairly genuine when he needs to be. on the other hand, to him feelings only lead to more trouble so he keeps his emotions held to his chest. they're not getting a peep when he finally begins developing feelings in turn beyond broad, "i care about you." statements.
despite how much he, while he won't say it upfront, dislikes her, vance is most like his mother. they are both closed off individuals who'd rather sulk in their own feelings than be vulnerable. especially if it that means to acknowledge what hurt them, reopening wounds and in vance's case, potentially having those concerns brushed off. they're very logical and detached from people, and so will manipulate others if it's thought to be for the best. but while they don't want to deal with people, they're still protective of them. that's where the similarities end, though.
i think rebecca sees a lot of herself in him, but would zero in on the similarities he has with his father. he knows little to nothing about the man and if he did, he'd make a conscious effort to differentiate himself because he doesn't want to constantly viewed through the veil of a widow. so a lot of the other developments would be because of her absence and to be the type of person others need him to be. he puts others before himself at any given chance, and lies only when necessary. so he's much more genuine, and has it easier when building connections.
kind of wished i kept vance 6'7 since i enjoy height differences immensely, especially from a character analysis standpoint, and nate will be taller than him if i keep him 6'3. but then i remembered how tall vampires can get after transformation and . maybe you're too tall already man
there's no given reason as to why the mc was lonely most their life aside from having no family, so for vance i think i'll have it where he purposefully distanced himself from people. he saw through his mother how distraught you can become after losing someone important. also he generally views people as untrustworthy, not worth the trouble, and that becomes even worse after his fallout with bobby.
