Oregon Whiskey
I approve.
Watching the West Wing and drinking whiskey. I'm pretty happy with this night.
So my associate was looking for an American whiskey that he could take to his friend in Germany who likes Scotch. But wanted something from the Northwest. (As opposed to a bourbon from the South.) So we sampled a bunch of this. Oddly while it is bottled in Hood River, Oregon, it is considered a Canadian Whiskey. Honey and vanilla are borderline overwhelming. Very nice nose and brandy like finish, but with little complexity. A great value at $25.
