CAPE POINT & BOULDERS BEACH
Cape point is the most southern part of Cape Peninsula. Super windy, with amazing cliffs and views, also the point, where one ocean meet another. It´s less than two hours drive from Cape Town and it definitely worth for visit.
After enjoying views on Cape Point and having some good food in the restaurant Two Oceans, you can walk 45 minutes to Cape of Hope. It´s lovely scenic walk and not difficult. Both ways should take about 1,5 hour since it´s not super downhill/uphill. I took a bus trip, so we just walked down, where our bus was already waiting and taking us to the next station.
Once you are in the South from Cape Town, you can´t miss penguins! Everyone has a picture with them and even if you can´t go directly to them (it´s not a long time since you could), it still worth for it. They are funny and you shouldn´t forget to make some videos. Mine was quite successful on insta stories :-)
If you want to go to the South, you can rent a car, which makes sense if you are with friends. For 1 person price wouldn´t be any cheaper than a bus trip I guess and you miss a guide with quite interesting speech. For me, it was also fear factor: me + car + riding on the left side = disaster who made a decision. So I booked the tour the day before, no need to think about it earlier.
Start/End: around 10AM / around 5:30PM
