⬇️ Wondercon trip report! ⬇️

Woo hoo! Okay so admittedly I didn't take that many photos bc I was shy...,, 👉👈Most of the ones I did grab were from other Deltarune/UT cosplayers!

So this was my first Wondercon.... and I gotta say, I don't think I can ever go back to Anime Expo (the only other con i used to go to like 10 years ago) ever again haha

Firstly, this con isnt in the unalive (lmfao) of summer!! I was dreading wearing my cosplay so much because of the big cardigan and wig but wow I wasn't hot at ALL the whole time... It was incredible. I've never /not/ been hot at a convention haha. The expo hall was really nicely air conditioned!! Imagine that! 😩👍

My besties Charlie and Patrick ( @ coulrosaurus and @ mrunpragmatic im too shy to tag them im sorry flksdf) who helped a lot with my cosplay! Patrick has an awesome 3D printer, and he printed a ton of his props for his Bowser Jr. cosplay including that incredible paintbrush!! 🤩He and Kay also helped me model and make my antlers for my Noelle cosplay, and they turned out AWESOME 🥺 Charlies amazing Venipede was also a star among con-goers, which is GOOD because Patrick worked REALLY HARD ON IT!! 😤

I love goin' out with our crew, and loved that we let ourselves wander independently around the expo hall rather than following each other around, it was nice! I really thought I wasn't going to buy that much stuff LMAO...... I have never seen an artists alley so BIG before.... the tables were kind of jumbled up with the expo merchandise sellers which was a little hard to navigate, but there was SO MUCH COOL FANART AND STUFF..... GAH... I'll share what spoils I got at the end heh stay tuned ^_^

Some other Deltarune/UT cosplays!!

SO many Ralsei's and Tennas!! I didn't see any Susie's (to me, her cosplay seems difficult so I get it haha). There were even a good handful of Noelle's too! I reached out to every person that recognized my cosplay and handed them a kandi bracelet--the ones I've been making here and there for the past few months!

It was kind of funny how I ended up handing them out... I put the bracelets on these big carabiner hooks and attached them to a belt I was wearing, but my big cardigan hid them really nicely so it didn't make my outfit look clunky and they were super easy to get to. So I'd hit 'em with a "I have something for you!" then "Do you have a favorite character?" and then I pull one side of my cardigan open to reveal a metric f*ckton of bracelets organized by chapters haha I'll admit, I didnt meant to make a setup like that but the looks on everyone's faces once I did that reveal each time was really funny flksjf every person was like "OH..... YEAH??" I even got to hand some out to vendors too who were selling Deltarune merch which was awesome! ;v; some of them even let me pick out a small sticker for free which was super kind of them (and i made sure to buy something from their stall since it was such a kind gesture). There were times when I was sitting on the convention floor to the side wall and calling out to Deltarune cosplayers like "HEY! ...RALSEI! COME HERE!! I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU" 😂 And they listened! Its funny to think I was certain I'd be too shy to hand these out.... but I almost handed them all out!

I ran out of Susie, Tenna, Spamton, Queen and Ralsei bracelets... so those were the big-hitters! There was only one character that I hadn't made a bracelet for that I knew I should have bc they're really popular and that was Battat 😅 I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the popularity of Battat, but he is undeniably well loved! >:0 Good for him, I'm gonna make some next time I do something like this for sure....

I didn't really take many pictures of other cosplayers, but I did see my very favorite cosplay from the entire day and it was This cool cosplay duo who were dressed as LLTBP Gerard and the clown!!

I gasped I was so stunned and starstruck aaahaha they looked amazing 🥺🥺🥺 There weren't very many stalls selling MCR merch in the artists alley, so I was really surprised this deep cut made it in the cosplay community... I'm not sure if the Gerard cosplayer has a tumblr, but I noticed they were on twitter @ tomekurata :>

I'm only frustrated that I DIDN'T bring any copies of my MCR lltbp fanart with me to hand out to any other fans! 😭 I should have made kandi too.... oh well ;_; I'll be handing those out at the concert this October for sure.

Here's the merch haul! ^_^ Waaay more stickers than I anticipated buying lkdfjlk well I actually use and collect stickers though so that's ok!

Honestly I bought a lot of Tenna stuff?! I love him but Im not as obsessed with him as I am with other characters but honestly look at his merch?? THE FANMERCH OF TENNA GOES SO HARD..... Look at that TV Time shaker charm!! >:0 It was so cool I had to get it... and the big TV Time sticker is so sturdy and vibrant, I love it... The "peak" Tenna cracked me up so much I had to get it. Love that wooden Tenna pin too. I got some Noelle keychains which made me so happy~ 😚 It's crazy that my last convention experience was so long ago that before, not all keychains were double sided. Now ALL keychains are double sided!! Super cool. One of my favorite pieces here from this side is the Susie keychain and the memopad..... the colors are so vibrant and pretty.... Not to mention!! The really cool doodle mug! That artist was selling silly doodles of so many popular media things, I was so struck by how charming it looked and had to get one.

I'm sad at myself for not getting more Delicious in Dungeon stuff! 😂 But I ran out of my budget for the con and had to settle... I seriously love the Chilchuck keychain and the Dungeon Meishi goldfoil washi tape though... I love collecting washi tape! ^_^

And on the other side, I wanted to show off my other goodies!

That beautiful print of Daphne from the game Dragon's Lair has always been one of my favorites, and by the amazing Allison McKenzie too! I've seen that artist on the internet for so long, it felt right to support <3 I only regret not grabbing the Kimberly print from Space Ace too because I love her! 😅

I also got that amazing Slowpoke glass tumbler from the amazing StarSalts! It must be a new product type from them because I hadn't seen it before and they look GORGEOUS 🥺 I almost nabbed a porygon-themed one bc the colors were so good... but Slowpoke is my guy <3 I already have a few other things of this same pattern from their store so heres another one for the collection 😋

Alright lets talk about the elephant in the room...... bc I was really excited to get a Jerma photocard lollll (pretending to be in a parasocial relationship with a streamer is a funny bit, dont look at me) But mostly, I was excited to scope out these new fangled photocard holder things! I think theyre really cool 👉👈 Mostly because I want to put my ocs and my friends ocs in them 9v9 I'm definitely putting Gino or Chip in the "red flag" photocard holder.... I really like the purple-y star one I got! Maybe Audrey can go in there for a while <3

Also, it's hard to see, but I got a wonderful LLTBP pin from a seller who was super cool.... I love this pin so much, and it's so wild that I can tell exactly what photo was referenced from the concert too (I think!). I love that its sketchy and stuff. Thank you so much @ xcrashkatx <3 Thanks for letting me yap a bit and nerd out about mcr in front of you and your friend haha

Well thats the main bit of my haul! If you read all of this, then thanks for reading! :'D this trip was very special for me, and the whole day went amazing and nothing bad at all happened so I've got the warm fuzzies from the whole thing 🥰❤ I would love to go to Wondercon next year!

I noticed there were people on social media who were saying "oh wondercon is so unalive (lol) its not busy at all" but I thought it was GREAT!! I didn't have to fight through any crowds, I saw tons of cosplay and almost wanted to sit and just watch all the people go by (if we were going for two days, I would have! But it was wild how fast the day went when I hadn't even gotten through the whole dealer hall floor.... 😵we just barely got all our stuff before the hall closed for the day). It would've sucked if there were more people honestly!! It was the perfect pace.... and lots of sellers too! Everyone was friendly and I didn't feel unsafe or anything (unlike LA for Anime Expo... it can get crazy out there 😭)
