The Law books of the Old Testament || Summary

Hurrah :) Here is a summary. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy are meant to communicate how God engages with Israel, makes a way to interact with them through the Law and the Sacrifices, cares for them, and plans to bring the whole world to Him through them (foreshadowing to Jesus.)

Possible questions for discussion about the Pentateuch

Yeah, Yeah, I know I haven't actually written a nice little post summing up the section of the Old Testament called the Pentateuch, but if I’d love to hear your opinions on some of the following questions:

-Why is the Pentateuch important? what do we learn about God’s relationship with Israel? -Significant events in the Pentateuch: the fall of humanity, the Exodus, the Mosaic covenant, the 10 commandments-what do you think of them? Why are they important?

-Why do you think its’ so hard to understand the Old Testament today?
