Around this time last year I made set two goals for 2017: 

Loose 50 lbs (23ish kg)

Complete a photo a day project. 

Give or take a mince pie (or 13) I am 100 lbs lighter than I was, and my blood pressure is much better (which was one of the motivations for doing it) and this is the penultimate photo. 

So some of the last few days have been spent working out what next years  goals might be and here is a photo of some of my notes midway through the ideas.

Day 30 of inktober 2016

On the almost day of last year we were up on Hilly Fields before most people.

It was one of the few really frosty mornings but with it came the most beautiful blue sky and sunshine.  In not appropriate enough footwear, it wasn’t long before we had hotfooted it to the café.

That still gave me enough time to savour the misty view and the frosty footprints.

Somebody had decorated a line of trees with silver and gold baubles.  Anyone know who did it?  Beautiful in the freezing cold air on such a bright day. Look out for a reflected selfie, but you might only catch the tip of my raspberry beret.

When I spend the *entire* day leaving my replacement detailed case notes, an annotated wait list of potential clients, *and* a list of all of the judges, commissioners, and court personnel s/he will have to deal with in this job.
