Penumbra Podcast Pride Week: Prompts!

Hello everyone! I’m happy to announce the prompts we have lined up for the first ever Penumbra Pride Week. The dates for posting are officially June 16th-23rd.

Day 1: Pride Parade

Create something relating to your favorite characters and how they’d celebrate at a pride parade!

Day 2: Double Date

Ever wonder what two relationships from the show would be like on a double date? Now’s your chance to create something for that!

Day 3: Affection/Kisses

This one is self explanatory. Make something related to people kissing or being affectionate with each other.

Day 4: Polyamory

Have an OT3? Really enjoy the Bouquet ship? Today’s the day for you and all my polyam peeps out there. Show your appreciation for polyamorous love on this day.

Day 5: Gender Presentation

This one may be a little complicated so let me clarify. This day is for putting the characters in whatever you think makes them feel best. Want Juno in a pretty dress? You’ve got it. Want Sir Caroline butch-as-can-be in a suit and tie? Oh absolutely. Characters being trans/experiencing their gender in unique and fantastic ways is the theme.

Day 6: LGBT Headcanons

Self explanatory. Have a headcanon that hasn’t been confirmed? Give it some love on this day. Examples: Peter Nureyev is a trans icon and you can pry it from my cold dead hands.

Day 7: Proposal/Marriage

Create something for your faves on their special day, or what it might look when they propose. How do monsters propose (would Arum even consider it?)? Can Nureyev even get married? Questions like that and more are reserved for this day.

Day 8: Free Day

Make whatever you want day! Yeehaw!

Penumbra Podcast Pride Week

Hello all! I was inspired by @tazprideweek to create our own little fandom event! The Penumbra Podcast was created with the intention of celebrating marginilized identities, especially those of the LGBT+ community so I thought it was fitting that we express our pride through our creativity and our love for the podcast, especially since June is right around the corner!

The event will be an 8-day art extravaganza and each day will have a different prompt relating to pride. All artists/writers/creators are encouraged highly to participate. We accept fanfic, moodboards/aesthetics, playlists, drawings, etc. We accept works from all the storylines (Junoverse, Second Citadel, Coyote of the Painted Plains, etc.). Basically the only rule is have fun, be gay, do crimes.

When will this be taking place?:

We’re going to shoot for June 16-23
