Being the only PenVelo rider and the pre race favorite against 7 Rev's Racing riders. I put in attack after attack and couldn't get away solo, but still had enough in the sprint to finish 2nd. After setting the pace I attacked on the 1st climb and had a small gap. Then Eric attacked on the 2nd climb and he yelled "c'mon Brian!" Dug deep to hang on his wheel and then we 2 man time trailed to get away for good. On the 2nd lap Eric pulled away with a well deserved solo win after I tried to catch him. Great teamwork!
