I need to volunteer but I have clinical depression and the last time I went into the nursing home, I cried and that didn’t do any good for anyone. I’d like to go back to work! I’m darn lucky to have two kids who both turned out very well. I went with the flow. I was raised in the country. I did a lot of farm work. I spent my childhood working hard. Then I went to college. I didn’t like it. I didn’t like being required to take subjects that I didn’t like. So I went to work. I went to work as a secretary. I went to a bunch of typing contests and won a lot! I just liked to work. My depression set in at 18. I didn’t date. I met this guy at 21. My mom told me he was no good. But I decided I would make him over. It didn’t work though. He was a womanizer. We divorced. Then I met Bill. We’ve been separated for awhile now. He is far too passive of a person and he’s lazy. I gave my children my attention when I was single but when I met Bill, I started leaving them alone with nothing to do and I didn’t like doing that. I regret that! I’ve taken care of our homes and made them beautiful since retiring I’ve got 4 grandkids and 5 great grandchildren and they don’t want my advice. They don’t want Grandma’s advice so I wouldn’t give advice to anyone younger than myself. I’ve enjoyed life!! I’m scared to death. The lord is showing us what he can do right now. This kind woman did not want to take a picture. #peopleofpurpose #peopleofpurposeband #peopleofspringfieldmo #springfield #happymonday #wisdom #417
