• how long have you been working on this project?
i worked on the project for like a year, couple of songs were steamed from ideas before that but i knew i wanted to make the project and immediately started preparing for it
• who is your dream collaboration?
my dream collaboration is beyoncé, i feel like that’s such a obvious answer but it really is, she should be everybody’s dream collaboration honestly. close second is bryson tiller, love his music.
• what's your favorite song off the album?
currently it’s if you hate me, it changes but i always go back to that one, it feel like it’s one of the emotional ones and i go back to feeling how i felt writing it and it isn’t a good feeling but the fact that it takes you there makes it so addictive to listen to.
• what was your favorite song to make?
cut em off was so fun, it was essentially me just talking my shit and i don’t do that often i just felt angry and i wrote it out of some anger and ego. it want going to see the light of day until i made a beat that would fit the concept and i had to put it on the ep.
• what was the quickest song to make?
also cut em off because i wrote it so easily it took like 20 minutes. when i made the actual song the beat was so simple and i sung it a few times and did the backgrounds and it was done. its not usually that simple for me or making a song in general but it just happened and i loved the outcome but it wasn’t like a ballad or a overly thought out song so it makes sense it took such a short time.
• what was the longest song to make?
oh my, fucking ex! that song had like 50 different outcomes. it was always the same subject. of not wanting to be a ex to your ex who your attached to but it was a dance song, a pop song, a fucking rap song. like i went through so many beats, so many lyric changes because i knew i wanted it to be perfect then i came up with that melody. i don’t wanna be your ex. it just flew after that, and the lyrics finally came together and i was able to make a beat around it. but at first it was kicking my ass.
• who are your favorite artists?
it would be to easy if i said beyoncé. but when i was little the first album i ever bought with my own money was aaliyah self titled. i just knew after that i wanted to sing because she made emotional r&b music but her pop mix too it was so fucking good. i loved that album and still do. and brandy which is more of the music i love to make now, she’s my biggest inspiration, a vocal bible. we know this so i already named too many but brandy is the biggest inspiration for me and aaliyah was a entry in the music world so those two are amazing. beyoncé’s everybody’s favorite so that’s that.
• what is the concept of this album? what inspirations did you use for this album?
the concept is toxic relationships i used my real life events and put this in this album. i always made music but i never expressed myself publicly this way before about my life, to me it’s like writing poems and giving it to people to not only read but listen so that was a bit scary. but it’s young and i wrote it. i’m only 19 and young relationships are our entry in growing up and learning. what is good for you, what is bad, learning different boundaries and learning how to expect the best for you. i go through that a lot and ending it with the title track was coming to close of its as simple as that, people go from people you know, to people you don’t. you change you grow up and want different things but the journey through understands when and how is excruciating. 
• what are your favorite lyrics off the album?
i think from the title track, the whole song really. but the prechorus “and what hurts the most, is people can go, from people you know, to people you don’t.” like it hurts, you listened to how bad it hurt me through the others songs and it just hits the outro ending of that’s what people do, that who people are, and don’t stop just cuz they choose to be like that. i just made that up, period.
