This recipe for a Pepper Jack Cheeseburger combines juicy beef patties with the strong flavor of pepper jack cheese to make a burger that's great for any event.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 slices of pepper jack cheese. 4 hamburger buns. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1 tablespoon mustard. 1/2 onion, thinly sliced. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 tomato slices. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to each patty. Put the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Add a slice of pepper jack cheese to top of each patty in the last minute of cooking and let it melt. Fry or grill the hamburger buns for a few seconds on each side while the burgers are cooking. Gather the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl. Mix them together to make the sauce. Spread the sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together. After the tomato slice, put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce. Then, add a burger patty with melted cheese. Add the other half of the bun and some sliced onions on top. Enjoy your hot pepper jack cheeseburgers!
