i know i ship tony with practically everyone but listen. the two most valid tony ships are pepperony and iron husbands. he is literally SO in love with pepper and rhodey they are both his entire world and he actually fucking DIED for them he is In Love with the both of them. he goes fuckin feral every time something happens to either of them (pepper in im3, rhodey in cw) and he does his damnedest to help them in the aftermath (helping pepper with phasing out the extremis and building rhodey leg braces). theyre two of the few people hes hugged on screen. he trusts them so much with everything like being iron man and his ptsd and believing they will have his back. in im2 he and rhodey fight back to back and in endgame he and pepper fight back to back. and how happy he was when he found out they were both alive after the snap? both of them gently holding and touching him when he came back to earth (rhodey with shoulder pats and helping him calm down when he was yelling @ steve and pepper when he was laying in the medical bed)? oh and the NICKNAMES. he literally calls both of them pet names, speaking of. theyre the two most important people in the world to him. im crying
