Candles. Sara enjoys seeing if she can find old ones that have not melted from heat or been damaged because she enjoys having them in her room over homemade ones that most of the time can be a pain for herself to make correctly to infuse some kind of smell into.

In modern times Sara would have gotten the aid she needed to help her along the way when she was growing up so the woman could have felt more herself as she got older instead of falling to her mental illnesses. 

♤ : Cooking headcanon

She is a cooking monster. 8l Come to her house when she is cooking and she will forever make sure you leave well fed and with extra for later if you liked the meal. She loves it when people love her cooking and she always enjoyed cooking beside her mother who was her teacher.

Sai will never admit this but he enjoys sewing. He finds it calming and he has enjoyed making blankets and clothing since he has mellowed out.

Sara will never think of herself as beautiful or strong most likely till her child is able to speak and tells her. 

♠ - Painful headcanon

Sara is in constant pain after her kneecapping from her run in with fiends. From that she now always limps even if she doesn't always notice it. Though she always needs to take rests when walking or keeping her leg up if she is sitting for an extended amount of time. 

♥ - Love headcanon

If Sara loves you in anyway you will know by Sara's childish antics and wanting to be as close to you as possible ignoring your personal space bubble.

♕: Ten different quirks the character has

Sara will make popping noises with her mouth when she walks alone if she is in a good mood. 

She hiccups when she is about to cry. 

Sai will always stutter when he cries and gets emotional.

Sara will fall asleep most anywhere and most likely across your lap if you let her. 

Personal space is nonexistant for Sara and will always stand close to people without realizing they might not want her in their personal bubble. 

Sai's facial expressions are always over exaggerated. 

Sai will pick at the skin where he sees scars but might not be on Sara's actual face. 

Sara will fall asleep easier if her hair is played with as well if she herself is sung to like when she was a child. 

Sai will click his teeth most constantly if he doesn't know what to say. 

Sara's movement to a shiver down her spine always looks as if she has had a jump scare to something.

I DID THE WRONG SYMBOL WHOOPS

Sai originated as a fiend in Sara’s mind when she moved out to the Mojave.

Sara actually wishes to be short only so when she looses weight it is less noticeable then on her tall frame. 

Sara carries a small homemade doll with her, that her adoptive mother made for her when she was young, all the time. 

When Sara gets better mentally, Sai gets worse. 

Sara’s mental health is that far gone that, Sai, her mental escape from her schizophrenia actually sees himself in the mirror in stead of Sara’s reflection. 

The only part of Sara’s armor from the Talon Company that she still has around her on a daily basis is her boots she has just removed the plating off the front of it. 

Sara’s love of stripes came from pieces of cloth getting put together to make dresses that were all different colors when she was young. Love of stripes is still carried on now. 

Sara barely touches the teddy bear she owns while when Sai is home it rarely leaves his arms. 

Sara loves her hair now more then she ever has.

Sara’s health is genetic.

Sara will sleep most anywhere and in anyone's arms if she feels safe. She will sleep with her limbs as close to her as possible to conserve heat and keep herself warm unless she is in the arms of another then she will most always have her face pressed against their shoulder and her own shoulder against their chest, which always seems to be the most comfortable for her.
