Per Englund (April 30, 1905 - 1988) was a Swedish painter, who made several public murals in Swedish schools and institutions. He was trained in Sweden and Paris - after which he traveled extensively in Europe in the late 40s and 50s. He is now in several Swedish regional museums, including Länsmuseet Gävleborg where this naturalist canvas is found.
