if you headcanon the rest of the paladins as minors / underage and then draw / write / rp nsfw / porn of them, but then shit on people who headcanon them as adults, you are a fucking hypocritical little shit.

been wanting to talk about this for a long while, especially since it’s been rampant in the v.oltron fandom.

i know people have discussed this many, many fucking times, but.

the discourse. i need to express my personal take on this matter. i may make this a separate post on its own eventually, just to further emphasize how i see things.

the discourse over ages and shipping in this fandom is fucking ridiculous. i hear it’s even worse than the s.teven u.niverse fandom, which was, as i recall--i’m not in the s.u. fandom, ive just heard about it--pretty fucking bad.

first off, you have to remember that these are fictional characters you are wasting your breath on and throwing a hissy fit over. fictional. fucking. characters.

second--and i’m pointing a finger at a certain fanbase centering around two fairly popular ships--who the hell gives two-thirds of a shit who winds up together in canon? like, i wouldn’t give two fucking hoots if lance ended up with one of the alien chicks at the space mall, if shiro was found smooching up fucking kolivan, hell, i wouldn’t give a hoot if keith was revealed to be dating one of the damned olkari people!

of course, there are ships that i am crazy for and that i think would work very well, and ships that i personally don’t care for, and then there are some ships that make me want to gouge my eyes out with a fork, but i honestly think that all ships should remain in fanon at this point because those shippers--you should know exactly who i’m referring to--will fucking tear themselves apart if any ships in this fandom actually became canon.

and trust me, you will not want to be in the fandom any longer if that gasket is blown. i know i won’t want to.

I would describe it as Rushed . Whenever she’s writing it’s ideas or boredom sketches . Either way her mind is always running a million miles an hour & when she writes or draws it’s a reflection of that . Letters are rushed in efforts to keep up with her train of thought & come out almost scratchy & often run together . When she’s drawing it’s a very sketchy style with lines redrawn over & over , while not necessarily bad , it’s not particularly neat .

for each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a few headcanon about our muses. / accepting.

- at first, kumi really can’t stand him.  he’s annoying and overly nice, and she doesn’t really buy into niceness as a concept, so she assumes he wants something out of her or is making fun of her.  it isn’t until she finally really grouses at him and he kinda snaps back that she stops being quite such an asshole. 

- she really likes when he cooks, but she’ll never admit it.  she’s used to good food, but she isn’t used to food made with love, cheesy as that sounds.

- when her parents come home she always crashes hard, and after she doesn’t text for a few days he shows up at her apartment out of worry and finds she’s been rotting in bed for days and has a bruise on her cheek and has barely eaten.  he cooks her food and doesn’t ask.  she cries and pretends she isn’t.
