its so funny bc the people tagging me and saying im disgusting and should kms and reporting me/my blog (and melk too) are harassing us. which is against tumblr tos. which means your blog could be terminated too. mass and spam reporting and threats (whether real or fake) is harassment. that's why its easier to block and just move on with your life.

went through all my followers and blocked everyone who a) didn't have an age/age indicator, b) has been inactive for more than a year, c) had no posts, d) two or more of these points.

i, unfortunately, have been terrible at keeping up with checking blogs because i wouldn't get notifications for everyone in the activity tab and i'd lose my place. so today was a big day because i was actually able to start from the bottom and go through each and every blog. which resulted in a big number drop lmao but at least i feel more at ease

bc like. yes i would literally scroll past something i dont like?? if i didnt want to see certain content because it makes me personally upset, i would scroll past it. hell, i could even block it so i didnt have to see that content again. and you know what. i wouldnt even engage with that account bc what they post doesnt concern me. theres no point in telling someone to change, especially with such harsh language bc when has aggression ever changed someone's opinion???? if you come yelling at me that im wrong and disgusting, im not gonna be like "oh youre so right!! let me atone for my sins!!!", im gonna be like "get the fuck out of my house, no one invited you". it literally IS as easy as scrolling past.

um venting a bit under the cut

i dont want to block someone bc theyve been nothing but nice to me but sometimes they make me feel so self conscious about how i do things. like they feel like the "right" answer to everyone else bc everyone loves them and i do too bc theyre so nice and sweet!! but ugh i just feel so stupid 😔 like why am i so bothered by this

sorry to post discourse but its....... very odd that like. people are complaining about the content i write/reblog but they keep.... interacting with my blog and not blocking me which just means .. that tumblr is going to think you LIKE my blog (aka the content that is on my blog) 🧍 please go outside and take a moment to live in real life instead of policing people on the internet.
