Watching people talk about trans people in the military is so frustrating. Some dipshit said we shouldn’t give mentally ill people guns because it would be dangerous but like???

Soldiers step off the battlefield with a ton of PTSD and shit, then after some time home we send them back to the battlefield and IMMEDIATELY HAND THEM GUNS. Like, you can’t pretend that this is actually about mental health. If you gave a damn about people and their mental wellness, you wouldn’t condone anyone stepping foot on the battlefield in the first place.

It’s pretty fucked up that I would live and die for my fair weather friends and they don’t give a single shit about me unless it suits them.
