They burn down their summer room with Odysseus's father inside, and Odysseus feels his father's death because of his ligilimency. Finally, while exploring with his siblings at fifteen, they stumble upon an Ancient Magic hotspot. Idris has gone to say their goodbyes to Amit in case we don't return. Me? I'm too much of a coward to face you. I can't look you in the eyes and tell you I may never come back. I wouldn't be able to keep myself from telling you how I feel. And I can't tell you that.
