Can't even put into words how insane watching Masters of the Universe (2026) was at IMAX. But I'll yap about it anyway.

It's obviously not perfect, but story-wise it's good and Skeletor is iconically savage and the funniest villain on Eternia. Literally reminded me of D&D Honor of the Thieves or just D&D itself with Sci-Fi elements.
There were also definitely a lot of visuals to appreciate... I keep mentioning this to my friend but I really love this one close-up shot of Skeletor where he's getting off his ship. Might try to find a photo of that to put here. It looked so sick, they added red lens flares 'cause his eyes (pupils?) glowed!
Sound design was chef's kiss; also, THEY PUT HEYEAH!!!! Oh man, I loved that part as my fellow theater-goers laughed out loud.
I also loved how the kid behind me watching the movie during the "romantic" scenes was like, "Typical romance scene".
One of the also sickest scenes was "By the power of Grayskull... I HAVE THE POWER!" and then LIGHTNING strikes down and transforms my guy, Prince Adam, into the most biblically accurate ripped Adam of Eternia 😭🔥
Ngl, a lot of MOTU's lines can be quoted from and you'd sound, like, LOTR-fan-type-of-cool. Geeky, but you get my point.
Anyway, I'll probably edit this once I give it a rewatch digitally. The movie is honestly still fresh in my mind XD Alright, see ya!
