Micah stated, tennis ball in his hand being tossed in the air and caught again on repeat, almost as if it had become the only way Micah could carry on a conversation. "How were things while you were gone? I know that we stayed in contact on the phone but it's never the same as getting to talk to you in person. Tell me everything, I want to know." Micah spewed sentences one after the other, his eagerness to catch up with the guy he'd considered family growing stronger by the second.
