so… yk how i said in his introduction how he’s never met maahox before? yeah…. i may have lied. he absolutely has met maahox and has certainly paid the price for not entrusting him with the details of the lions

obviously he was rescued but believe it or not, nobody actually knows about the scarring on his back! he vowed to never open up about it or show anyone to save himself the trauma of having to relive the moment again, but he does eventually show it off to keith when he later comes back to the gang with his own set of scars 💗 expect a ton more where this comes from, i absolutely love imagining scars and will be doing so on every character apart from

COSMO SCARS RANT

so ive been thinking about how and when cosmo got attacked by maahox and scarred with acids and honestly it’s easily gotta be somewhere in “The Joyride Of Doom” episode with daniel, vince, and larmina

obviously they go to lotor’s planet to get the sample for pidge, but can’t entirely go by themselves to a planet they’ve never been so they convince the only other guy that knows what they’re dealing with to come with (which in an aspect on its own takes an excruciatingly long time) as always cosmo refuses to fly any lion so he’s instead sat with vince as they fly towards planet doom. thing is, the second they make it they get separated as cosmo (knowing his way around) makes his way inside the castle much faster than the cadets. maahox then catches him wandering through the lair, which automatically puts him on a lookout for any other intruders (eventually finding the cadets)

which then naturally brings the interrogation as maahox eventually learns of cosmo’s place in the vf and is determined to learn the secrets of the lions and of voltron itself, but cosmo’s even more determined to get the fuck out of there as he makes it his mission to give nothing of value which pisses maahox off who instead resorts to several different strategies to fish information out of him (we know one of them) eventually the cadets escape and knock maahox out which means everyones good and free right? of course not! because acid is a PAIN to deal with and on arus everybody’s fighting lotor, which means complete hell for his back! even better when after everythings all sorted out, the team gets onto the cadets AND cosmo for sneaking out and risking the safety of all of them as instead of opening his goddamn mouth cosmo stays quiet and presumably punished for nearly getting himself killed! only when he’s in the safety of his library can he finally relax and try his damn hardest to take care of himself, all while keeping nearly the hardest secret of his life

all this falls before wade knew of his existence which helps establish why cosmo was so terrified of him (poor guy, so much trauma) when he got snatched and was the LAST time cosmo EVER showed his face in the public eye

they were sent by allura to get some food for everyone and ended up arguing like a married couple in-front of the cashier and everyone else in line for 10 minutes straight (nobody complained, it was thoroughly entertaining and entertainment is something you need when ordering subway) needless to say they’re no longer allowed to buy food for anyone anymore AT LEAST without someone there to keep the peace and prevent them from embarrassing themselves like toddlers

keith teases lance about buying tuna when he ends up eating a meatball sub so who’s the loser now (jk i love him dearly), i refuse to believe he doesn’t have some wicked scar on his face like on his eye or smth because number 1, literally everyone in the universe wants to bloody kill him but also because its cool and he deserves to have some sort of scar okay- also keith with earrings just hits differently

why is lance wearing a purple earring? honestly i dont even know myself but it looks good- the bandage was intentional though, mf got it 10 minutes before they were sent to get food after trying to impress the cadets with his awful skateboarding skills (he made a fool out of himself but at least he made everyone laugh, win win ordeal iykwim)

the shading is god awful on this but i still love it because of the stupid subway background that i found on google not even 2 minutes of searching, ty toast for helping me w the background i wouldve stared at pinterest for 30 minutes questioning my existence without your guidance
