Cameron, what's the one thing you always wanted to do but haven't had the chance?
"Try sushi? Punch Bane Braxton in the face? Learn German? Earn the respect of my asshole father? Go skiing? There’s a list. A long convoluted list of really dumb things. Nothing important at all really."
Thomas, do you ever think it weird that you sort of unknowingly work with your dead brother?
"No. If he has no memory of being my brother then he isn’t my brother. It’s just that simple."
You just don't look like a doberman, Thomas!
"Oh, are we pretending that I care about your opinion now or….?"
Rosie, if the zombie apocalypse happened and you could pick four people to be on your zombie-fighting team, who would they be?
"Renna and Ronni, obviously. Uhhhm Cameron annnnnnd King too, because we kind of have a verbal contract or something and someone’ll need to protect him."
Pereaux 700-ish word drabble.
"No creepy boyfriend today?" He asked, raising his eyebrow and slinging his arm around the younger girl's shoulders. Rose rolled her eyes "No. Just you and me Cam, as promised. Family fun day." She smirked. He sucked in air through his teeth and kicked at the sand as they walked, she tillted her and slowed. His eyes widened as he looked at her "What?" She glowered at him "I know you Cameron, what's with the hissing? What have you done?" He stopped and his nose crinkled "It's still family, but it's not just you and me." She raised her eyebrow "What'd'you mean?" she asked suspiciously, he motioned up the beach with a flick of his head and she followed it. A very recognisable figure was tood with his hands in his pockets, looking like he was about to walk in the opposite direction. Rose shurgged Cameron's arm off her shoulder and raised her hands, palms facing out the way "I'm out." she said bluntly and started walking away. Cam grabbed her arm "Rose..." She shot him a scathing look "You tricked me Cameron.I'm so not interested in talking to that, that...traitor." She tugged away but Cam pulled her to face him and stand in front of him, he leaned his head down "He's our brother Rose." He said doing that super irritating pleading thing with his eyes. "...You need to talk to him at some point. Now's as good a time as any."
She sighed and her lips pulled into a scowl as her other brother approached "What the hell's this Cameron. And intervention? I'm not interested." Cam turned Rose around, she didn't lose the scowl and thomas eyed her wsith annoyance "Hello Rosie..." She tried to seem as uninterested in his presence as possible but she couldn't hide the anger she held even when she was simply just saying his name. "Thomas." She answered dryly, narrowing her eyes. "Well, Cam?" Thomas wanted a reply to his question. "It's not an intervention...it's a family gathering. During which you will get along and stop being children. Okay? Good." Thomas shook his head "Not interested." Rose nodded, raising her hand "Ditto." Cam smirked "Aw see? You're getting along already." Thomas rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, rose went quiet, the tension grew and Cam sighed "Oh come on...you two used to be so close...what happened?" Rosie rasied her eyebrow at him, like he was completely stupid, thomas gave him almost exactly the same expression "Well..apart from the obvious....... of course."
"What happened is that I'm happy and Rose doesn't like it." Thomas smirked, Rose scoffed in return "Thomas abandoned us that's what happened." The other boy rolled his eyes. "Oh please. I didn't abandon you." Rosie kept her scowl in place "You left us without saying anything. I'm pretty sure that counts as abandoning us." Thomas didn't reply to her, he just watched her carefully "See, this is progress..." Cam was heading the right way for a smack in the face. "Are we done now? Good. Bye." She tried to pull away from Cam but he held her in place "Stay." He commanded. Thomas sighed "I miss you Rosie." It probably wasn't possible for Rose to scowl at him any more than she already was "Well that's just tough luck for you, isn't it Thomas? Tu étais le seul qui m'a laissé tout seul." She hissed angrily. Thomas tilted his head "Il n'était pas comme ça Rosie..." As soon as she slipped into French he followed suit. Suddenly she yelled at him, anger and bitterness in her voice "Well what was it like then Thomas, tell me?! Because I'm just desperate to know." Thomas ran his hand through his hair, frustrated "Rose, I just didn't want to hurt you...besides...you had Cam to look after you."
She scoffed again "I'm done here. Let me go Cam." Cameron wouldn't relent "Just give him a chance Rosie." The girl pursed her lips and Thomas' brow creased "Please, Flower." Her mouth turned down into a frown, why could she never say no to her brothers? She snapped at him "Fine. You get ten minutes. That's it."
