Everyone who loves chocolate will go crazy for these Fudgy Nutella Cupcakes. They are soft, rich, and taste like Nutella, which is hard to resist. Perfect for any event!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 cup Nutella hazelnut spread. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup whole milk. 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts optional, for garnish. Nutella for frosting optional. Powdered sugar for dusting optional.
Instructions: Warm up your oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin. Stir the cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk. Put the melted butter and Nutella in a different bowl and mix them together well. One egg at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing them in with the milk every so often. Start with the dry ingredients and end with the milk. Don't mix any further than that. Fill up each muffin tin cup about two thirds of the way to the top with batter. If you want, you can top each cupcake with chopped hazelnuts. After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs on it. After baking, let the cupcakes cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. If you want, you can frost the cupcakes with Nutella and sprinkle them with powdered sugar after they are cool. Have fun with your tasty Fudgy Nutella Cupcakes!
